Prof. Dr. M. B. Mule is working as a Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad MS India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science in the year 1991. His Ph.D. work was on eco-toxicological component and he have studied the impact of toxicants on fresh water snails. Specifically, he worked out the effect of pesticides and heavy metal pollutants effect on fresh water snails Thiara tuberculata along with their toxicity assessment.
As a researcher in the field of Environmental Science, he has worked on ecological aspects, limno-biological aspects of fresh water bodies. The water pollution study has been carried out in terms of water quality parameters analysis. Simultaneously he studied the indicators of water pollution, specifically the phyto and zoo plankton’s indicator species were worked out for indicating river water pollution sources and pollutants.
As a resource person he has given lectures to common public on radio. The lectures were given in scientific conferences, workshops organized for academician and to students. He also gave Key note speeches in international conferences in abroad and chaired the sessions. For scientific deliberation, he visited Shanghai, China, Singapore, Cairo, Egypt etc.
